POE Investigation Of Shenzhen Bay

Under the background of the new urbanization and the global "leisure time", the redevelopment of urban waterfront contribute to solve the internal contradictions, improve the ecological environment and enhance the competitiveness of the city. It is helpful for us to carry out POE investigations of urban waterfront to provide an urban waterfront with sustainability and high-quality.The paper has carried out a POE investigation of Shenzhen Bay in order to bentify the park.The investigation includes two sets of questionnaire and carried out behavior observation. One of questionnaire is about the basic information and the behavior of the users in Shenzhen Bay. The other one is about post occupancy evaluation of satisfaction. Secondly, the paper has carried out the research on the specific usage pattern of the park in order to comprehensively explore the overall use of the Shenzhen Bay.It realizes the combination of subjective and objective quantity.On one hand, the author has analyzed the basic information such as gender, age, and the way of the garden by means of descriptive analysis. On the other hand, the paper has evaluated the natural environment, park artificial landscape, social cultural factors and intention of design elements by means of semantic differential method(SD).At the same time, this paper describes the park each user's behavior pattern by means of behavior observation.Otherwise,the whole evaluation system contains four target layers, including elements of natural environment, artificial landscape, social and cultural as well as the design elements.In this evaluation system, each target layer is independent of each other, which consists of a number of specific indicators, a total of forty indicators.Each index is divided into five grades: good, good, general, poor and very poor according to the actual situation.After the completion of such evaluation, we get the quantitative data.At last, the author thinks that there are many advantages in Shenzhen Bay, such as the natural ecological environment, the comprehensive park management, full range of park facilities and so on. In meanwhile, there are many problems and potential needs of the better water landscape, the more infrastructure and culture.According to the existing problems in Shenzhen Bay, the author has put forward the corresponding optimization design strategy.(1)People should deal with the problem of sewage treatment as soon as possible, and put it in an important role and design for the water elements in the park.(2)In order to maintain the ecological balance of the park and keep sustainable landscape, it is necessary to improve traffic system, control the number of visitors on weekend, imrove use efficiency of some space.(3)According to different types of people's living habits and needs, we should build another suitable outdoor space for people. It provides the relevant supporting facilities, especially the canteen, shade shelter, bathrooms, fitness and entertainment facilities.(4)In order to improve the quality of life of the public, the government, the park service and the social organizations should carry out the rich and colorful cultural and recreational activities, as well as playing the role of popularization of science education and culture.(5)In addition, the park management office should collect and feedback the problems and potential needs of the park in a timely manner.When necessary, we can upgrade the appropriate transformation of certain sections of the project.
