Research On The Ribbon Waterfront Landscape Based On Post Occupancy Evaluation

From ancient to modern times,the city river has close relationship with the city resident’s life.The city river has the transportation function.What’s more,the city river has an important function to beautify the city and rich the city resident’s life as a civil engineering.In the recent years,banded waterfront landscape construction is like a raging fire in China with the development of urbanization.However,it is lack of some support of theories and researches.The design and construction of the banded waterfront landscape is only relied on the designer’s experience and ability is insufficient,which leads to the gap between the construction and the user’s demand.So it is a practical and urgent task to study how the banded waterfront landscape meets the users’ needs.This paper use the post occupancy evaluation to evaluate the environment of the banded waterfront landscape and explore the behaviors and psychological need of the users and then put forward some suggestions to improve the environment of the banded waterfront landscape to meet the users’ needs.In chapter one,the author devotes the purposes and significances of this paper and put forward the content,structure and study methods of this paper.In chapter two,some theories related to the banded waterfront landscape and the post occupancy evaluation are summarized and the concept,characteristics and development status of the banded waterfront landscape are studied.And then the concept and value of the post occupancy evaluation and its significances in China are introduced.In chapter three,the scientific and rational system of the post occupancy evaluation is established in this part.The observation,interview,questionnaires and other methods are used to collect data and the integrated use of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method is used to analysis the survey results.The analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is applied in qualitative analysis.The quantitative analysis is used to process the collect information.In chapter four,the evaluation system is used to evaluate the Zhuzhou Hexi Xiangjiang river landscape and evaluate the use condition of the Zhuzhou Hexi Xiangjiang river landscape from the angle of the users and then point out the strength and weakness and solutions are proposed from four stages that are planning,design,construction and management.In chapter five,the construction method of banded waterfront landscape are summarized from construction concept and process in order to provide reference to the construction,management and evaluation of the banded waterfront landscape in the future.At last,the conclusion is made and the shortcomings of this paper are pointed out.This paper throws away a brick in order to get a gem.As an initial exploration of the study of the post occupancy evaluation of the banded waterfront landscape,this paper lays the groundwork for further comprehensive and in-depth research.This fundamental research may provide references and reality basis to further study and make contribution to the improvement of the construction of the banded waterfront landscape.
