Based on many advantages of switched reluctance motor, such as simple structure, wide speed range, high starting torque, suitable for high-speed field, it can consider becoming electric drive motor selected by the repeat frequency high pulsed power supply system. This paper designs a high-speed switched reluctance motor for the background of repeat frequency high pulsed power supply system.Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the pulse power system, analyzes the domestic and international research situation of the switched reluctance motor. Based on the basic principles of SRM, it establishes the ideal linear model and analyzes the changing rule of flux and current in this model. Then, according to requirements of the subject, the basic design process of the prototype is determined by referring to the design experience of traditional motors, the entire design process is described in detail, and the initial dimension parameters of the high-speed switched reluctance prototype is obtained. And after establishing the finite element model, the design rules of air gap?stator yoke thickness and polar arc of stator and rotor are discussed, and the final size of the prototype is determined by the parametric simulation of some parameters; the influence of prototype static characteristics on different winding connection is discussed, and the winding connection is determined by the simulation of the different winding connection of the prototype; finally, it proves that the rotor and shaft meet mechanical intensity requirements at maximum rotational speed by mechanical verification of the prototype. Moreover, based on the prototype's flux curve, the nonlinear prototype model is built through simulink. Its speed control system simulation model is established and simulated, and it proves that the switched reluctance prototype can speed smoothly in a large scale of the subject requirements.Finally, based on the theoretical simulation, integrated machine set(SRM and high voltage generator) is validated by experiments. It proves that this prototype achieves the design specifications.
