As a kind of hoisting machinery, bridge crane is indispensable, widely used in industrial production. In order to improve the design efficiency of the bridge crane, and solve the problem of long design cycle, repeated work and uneven design quality which exist in the traditional bridge crane design pattern with the manual design scheme and use Auto CAD as the drawing tool. In this paper, a bridge crane integrated design system combined with CAD/CAE integration technology is built based on the theory of generalized modular.First of all, under the premise of the domestic and international development trend of the bridge crane, the present research on generalized modular design and CAD/CAE integration technology, Combined with the bridge metal structure characteristics of the bridge crane, The generalized module of design theory is introduced into division of the bridge metal structure module, and put forward the overall scheme and design process of the design system.Secondly, the key issues of the bridge crane metal structure design method and theory, module partition of generalized module, parametric model technology and the integration of finite element analysis are introduced respectively. The bridge metal structure design calculation and checking are realized by using allowable stress method and limit state method respectively. The generalized model parameterization is realized by model-driven and dimension-driven technology. The SolidWorks was secondary developed by using C#, and a function library containing common modeling commands and support for model driven and dimension driven method was provided. The ANSYS is integrated into the design system by using the process communication, and finite element parametric modeling and automated analysis of metal bridge structures are realized combine with APDL. At the same time, the three-dimensional model of SolidWorks is introduced into the dynamic analysis software of ADAMS, and the operation condition of the bridge machine is simulated.Finally, on the basis of the above research, a set of bridge crane integrated design system based on generalized modular is developed, the system can effectively improve the efficiency of bridge crane metal structure design, and realized the expected function.
