Unmanned aerial vehicle(UVA) has a broad development prospects in military and civil field, due to its low cost, light weight, no casualties, good performance and strong adaptability. The gear is an important component of the UVA, and its performance directly affects the safety of the UVA. Skid landing gear has a simple structure and its quality is light. It is mainly used for soft landing surface such as snow and sand, which is not suitable for using wheel gear, or when the landing speed is very low and has no need to use wheel landing gear.This paper puts forward the structural design of a skid landing gear based on the general design process and the basic task of the landing gear. The basic form of the landing gear and material of the structure is determined according to the using requirements of the landing gear. Statics and dynamics analysis is carried out on the landing gear, respectively. The structure parameters are adjust according to the analysis of the static strength. Then the dynamic condition is analyzed to ensure the structure satisfy the use requirement.The finite element model is established using ABAQUS based on the preliminary design of the landing gear. The structure is laid up reasonably and the loads and constraints are imposed on the model. By calculating the results of the static strength and dynamic strength, it is found that the designed model complies with the requirement of the strength, which illustrates the rationality of the design. Then the detail place is analyzed by establishing the finite element model. The stress and deformation are obtained after static and dynamic analysis. The calculation results show that the design of the detail place also meet the requirements.The designed skid landing gear in this paper not only meet the requirements of the use of UAV under various operating conditions, but also greatly reduced the quality and cost, which achieve the purpose of this study. |
