The skid landing gear has the advantages of simple structure,low cost,light weight and low air resistance,which is widely used in small helicopters.Composite material has the advantages of light weight,high strength,fatigue resistance and environmental resistance,and can be used in the design of the energy-absorbing components of skid landing gear.The energy absorption characteristics of composite skid landing gear are studied in this paper.Firstly,VABS program is used to analyze the section characteristics of composite beam.According to the Hodges moderate deflection beam model,the dynamic model of the skid landing gear is established.The skid landing gear is discretized by the beam element with 2 nodes and 12 degree of freedom,and the dynamic equation of the skid landing gear is obtained.Then,the static deformation and inherent characteristics of the composite skid landing gear are calculated,and Newmark method is used to calculate the energy absorption performance of the composite skid landing gear,and the parameter sensitivity analysis is carried out for the key parameters.On this basis,according to the requirements of GJB720-2012,a helicopter skid landing gear is designed,and key parameters such as the size of arch beams and slide pipes and the laying scheme are confirmed.The energy absorption characteristics of the composite skid landing gear at different landing speeds are calculated.At last,the energy absorption characteristics of the designed skid landing gear are calculated using ABAQUS software.The correctness of the model is verified by comparing the results.
