| In recent years, with the continious development of economy, urban air pollution is worsening. Different regions home and abroad have suffered different degrees of pollution. Our living environment is also threatened by haze- "PM2.5" these uninvited guests. Deteriorating air quality has been a crisis to everyone’s health. Although the market has a variety of air purification products, people can not always escape in an outdoor environment with an air purifier. The outdoor air suffer from pollution haze, we had to take personal respiratory protection. So what is haze, PM2.5 ? According to the definition in GB3095-2012 "Ambient Air Quality Standard", PM2.5 refers to the ambient air aerodynamic equivalent diameter that less than or equal to 2.5μm particles, also known as fine particulate matter. Such tiny particles floating a long time in the air will threat human respiratory health.Luckly, people’s awareness of personal respiratory protection is awakening. What’s more, personal respiratory protective equipments began to be received and chosen by people. Research and Design of personal respiratory protective equipment is to reduce the threaten to people’s respiratory healthy in urban haze environment. Using personal respiratory protective equipment can reduce inhalation of harmful substances, in this way can people avoid more healthy damage by haze pollution. People pay more and more attention on personal respiratory protective equipments’ using is aimed to avoid harmful substances do harm for human respiratory organs directly, especially in outdoor activities in daily life. Firstly, this article detailed and theoretical analyse "the definition and causes of haze" and "haze impact on the social environment and human health," and obtain the focal point "Personal protective equipment" is designed to protect human health. Secondly, it describes the relevant state laws and regulations and actions takened by people to resist haze, recognizing the current urban haze environmental pollution has become a kind of norm situation that can not be changed in a short time. In this case we have to take effective personal protection to maintain healthy breathing. Finally, on the basis of this theory, this article proposed to design and research personal protective equipment under urban haze pollution environment. Focusing on "personal protective equipment" and "the user’s conclusion”, this essay summarise the breakthrough point in personal protective equipment design. In addition, according to the existing personal protective equipment’s function, shape, wearing style and other aspects of the user experience research, this essay concluded the personal protective equipments’ design direction, guide and the feasibility of the design principles and methods.
