| Floods and disasters are often closely connected. On the one hand, floods, with its natural force, has shaped the alluvial fans, which is foundation of social and economic development of mankind. On the other hand, humans have long been regarding floods as the devil, and many very serious flooding events have occurred in the course of history. Because of the special geographical location and climatic conditions, China has been suffering from the threat and impact of flood disaster for a long time. Nowadays in our country, the main river flood control engineering system is mainly composed by the reservoir, the river embankment and storage detention basin, in such conditions, how to better play and make use of flood storage and detention area to resist flood beyond the standard watershed is suitable to the situation of our country’s flood risk management ideas, and also the key issues of the use of the actual project to consider.Dujiatai Flood Diversion and Detention Area is not the only flood diversion and storage project in the lower reaches of Hanjiang River, but also an important part of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River flood control system, due to its connecting with the upstream of Hanjiang River, connecting with the Yangtze River at the exit, the task is storage of Hanjiang River and the Yangtze River Flood, and to discharge local waterlogging, which is an important force in the protection of Hanjiang River in the middle and lower reaches of the and Wuhan city flood prevention and safety of a reliable guarantee.Since 1956, Dujiatai divided storage flood safely by dozens of times, which is the most frequently used flood diversion area in our country, and its using benefit is very significant. The paper paid attention to Dujiatai and its effect in flood controlling in the middle and lower reaches of Han Jiang. With measured data and field survey results, by comparing the common hydraulic model, the paper selected the MIKE11 and MIKE21 model for hydraulic modeling, and based on the analysis of the present situation of flood control, the paper designed the calculation scheme, which is mainly for the 1935 type of hundred years, the Han River floods in 20 years in 1935, Hanjiang River flood type of Luoshan station where maximum flow is 70 thousand cubic meters per second and 80 thousand cubic meters per second, and by combining with the engineering practice, flood detention basin evolution are analyzed and discussed.The main research results are:1) For the Han Jiang 1935 type flood, Dujiatai area is mostly used and caused huge damages. Historical floods have caused similar consequences.2) For Han Jiang 20-year flood, model analysis results show that when HanKou water level is lower than 25 meter, it is safe for Dujiatai to shunt 1500 cubic meters per second, and ther will be a risk of dike if it is more than 2000 cubic meters per second.3 For the Yangtze River flood, the analysis indicates that the use of Dujiatai will cause huge loss of flood. But Dujiatai failed to use in 1998, the flood diversion project has never been tested by Yangtze River flood, the model reliability needs further examination... |
