A Research On Rural Development Models And Landscape Planning Methods In The Suburbs Of Xi’an Metropolitan Area

In this rapid urbanization period,the rural construction problem is the most serveries and acutely in the suburbs of metropolitan area which in urban and rural spatial pattern of China.As the largest city in the Northwest China,Xi`an suburbs face on a complex and changeable environment resource,rural development and rural landscape also exist lots of problems.This research takes Xi`an suburban area as the research object,on the spatial background of Xi`an city with the time background of future city-countryside structure transformation.Using multi discipline knowledge,by a variety of new technologies and new methods to explore the way of combine the model of rural development and landscape planning.From suburban area to a single countryside,the specific research will guide the transformation development in the main function,industrial economy,society,population and the rural landscape in Xi`an suburban area which includes the following parts:Firstly,combed the evolution of city-countryside spatial pattern from modern times and compared with the western country.Analysis the impact factors influence the Xi`an city,at the same time,prediction the trend of future city-countryside spatial pattern for bring out four types of rural area in the evolution process.It points out that suburban countryside will be the “last village” in Xi`an city which should adopt the strategy of “diversity active adaptation” to achieve the development of countryside.Secondly,through a lots of methods to research the countryside for grasp the overall status of Xi`an suburban area,base on the background of environment change,adjust the development direction and change the subsystem.It sorts out four types of self-adaption development model and analyzes their evolution,experience and bottlenecks: the slow evolution model,the traditional industry replacement model,the city function undertake model,rural tourism reception model.Thirdly,focus on the future city-countryside structure transformation in order to adapt to the environment change of metropolitan area,it points out that suburban area should transformation as well.Because of the big numbers of the Xi`an suburban area,it is hard to make transition strategy for every village,thus it puts forward the format of rural development direction,which determined by the main function of different village.Through summarizing the experience of rural development on the case study both at home and abroad,for excavating the value itself and meet the needs of metropolitan area.This study brings out four rural development models as the ecological conservation mode,regional service mode,leisure recreation mode and modern agriculture mode.It also uses a multi-factor comprehensive regionalization system with GIS to division out the edge of the different modes of rural development model in Xi`an metropolitan area.Fourth,from the perspective of landscape architecture and landscape ecological theory to understand the rural landscape,according to Xi ’an suburban area topography partition,put forward four kinds of typical rural landscape: the plain type,the tableland type,the hills type and the mountain type.It points out that it will come out the differentiation in the future rural transformation and development process,therefore links the suburban development model with rural landscape to decide the type of rural landscape evolution or say the different objects of landscape planning.In view of the four typical rural landscape of Xi`an metropolitan area,put forward their respective characteristics and using the method of comparing the landscape indices and landscape perception to find out the changes of typical rural landscape after rapid urbanization to analyze the changes,existing problems and the reasons.Fifth,to explore the related theory,principle,technology of rural landscape planning in Xi`an metropolitan area on the content of the rural landscape planning system.To determine the planning objectives and principles,proposed a method of investigation and rural landscape planning database construction.It attempts to clarify the landscape planning principle,approval,implementation and supervision of the subject and the rights and responsibilities,as well as the establishment of rural landscape committee," awards substitutes punishments”,develop three security measures of rural landscape education.In the last,identifies three levels planning of the rural landscape planning content system: rural landscape pattern planning,rural landscape master planning,rural landscape construction,put forward the methods and key points with validation and case studies.This research developed a method of combining the rural development model and the rural landscape planning,guiding respectively determine the suburban rural comprehensive development strategy and the implementation of the physical space environment of Xi`an metropolitan area.It realizes the comprehensive development in the rural-city transformation period.Preliminary builds a complete system of the theory and methods for future suburban development strategies and rural landscape planning research area,also provides a guidance and implication for the practice and research on Xi’an metropolitan area or other similar metropolitan area.
