The radio navigation system plays an important role in the whole system of the aircraft.Radio navigation mainly contains two parts, one part is the ground equipment, and the other part is airborne units. Airborne navigation units process the navigation data by receiving signal from ground equipment, and then send relevant data to the other systems of the aircraft.The interface data interaction between airborne radio navigation and other systems of the aircraft is based on the Interface Control Document(ICD). The ICD of the airborne radio system needs to be designed at the beginning of the new aircraft design, but how to know whether the design logic of the ICD is correct, so a simulation platform is needed that can simulates the external interface based on the ICD.Based on the relevant units of the airborne radio navigation, this thesis analysis the external interface of simulation objects, sums up the type of data to be simulated, introduces the specific implementation plan, and finally a simulation platform is built that can simulates the external interface based on the ICD.First of all, the function requirement of the simulation platform is analyzed, and the specific function requirement is clarified. The data types, simulation model, and other function are confirmed by studying the external interface of the airborne radio navigation units.Then, the design scheme and implementation methods of the simulation platform are introduced. The design and implementation methods are introduced from both hardware and software separately, focusing on the implementation process of software. Simulation platform software uses the hierarchical and modular design concept, and uses the concept of class in C++ language to facilitate maintenance; Platform adopts the UDP communication protocol,increasing the flexibility of the simulation platform; The internal part of program is responsible for managing the simulation objects and the underlying physical boards.This reflect the system-class simulation and is convenient for resource configuration and data management.Finally, the simulation platform is tested, and four practical application examples are given. The simulation platform can simulates the external interface based on the ICD through rigorous testing and the platform is successfully applied to the simulation experiments for a certain type of aircraft.
