As the rapid development of civil aviation, it's necessary to reduce the maintenance cost to enhance the competitiveness and occupy the market for the airlines. The optimization of maintenance tasks group for civil aviation affects the parking time of aircraft and the work efficiency of aircraft maintenance. The method of civil aviation maintenance tasks group is studied in this article, the goal is reducing the maintenance cost, improving the efficiency of maintenance and laying the solid foundation for the subsequent development of large aircraft maintenance work.Two methods of maintenance tasks group optimization are studied, the first method is combining the direct group and indirect group to achieve the complementary advantages. The math model of maintenance tasks group optimization whose objective is cost minimizing is established. The algorithm of evolution plan based biogeography optimization is used to determine the best aircraft maintenance plan. Finally, the result of the example is compared with the method of direct group to verify the rationality of the math model. The second method to solve the problem of maintenance tasks group optimization is case-based reasoning which uses Data Mining to find the associate rules of similar cases. In terms of the method of CBR, VB and Access are used to research and design the software interface of CBR case retrieval system. Morever, the method of math model and method of CBR are compared and the merits and demerits of the two methods are analyzed under different conditions. Finnally, due to the simulation of the examples, the validity of the two methods of maintenance tasks group optimization are verified. The solid foundation of theory is laid for the airlines.
