High-speed railway EMU is a capital and technology-intensive product,it is composed of power unit and non-power unit.Considering the complex structure and fast running speed of EMU,with the increase in mileage,the failure rate and maintenance number of EMU will also increase.Therefore,maintenance department must develop a scientific preventive maintenance strategy to ensure the safe operation of high-speed railway EMU.How to set up a reasonable preventive maintenance strategy for the EMU components,so that the EMU components keep on a high reliability level and economy of maintenance is also guaranteed,is the focus of this paper.The specific contents of the paper are as follows:Firstly,in order to realize the scientific evaluation of the risk of EMU components,the failure risk factors are introduced,based on the existing multi-level maintenance strategy,a bi-level imperfect preventive maintenance strategy for component of EMU with consideration of failure risk is developed.Based on the different means and level of maintenance,maintenance methods are divided into junior and senior,and the specific way of maintenance is determined by economic analysis.The results show that,compared with the maintenance strategy without considering the risk of failure,considering the risk of failure makes the maintenance of the EMU components more economical and reliable.Secondly,aiming at heavy maintenance cost and failure risk of electric multiple unit component,the opportunistic maintenance strategy is introduced.Based on the multi-level maintenance rule in railway industry,a failure rate recursion method is defined under the bi-level imperfect maintenance strategy.Besides,a preventive optimization maintenance model utilizing the failure risk assessment mechanism is presented on component level.Furthermore,combining related maintenance actions by introducing opportunistic maintenance meliage window.Case study of the components of EMU,which failure meliage following Weibull distribution.The results show that the presented strategy can guarantee components reliability on a higher level and the totel maintenance cost reduced largely.Finally,game theory is applied to the maintenance strategy making for EMU component.In order to meet the expectations of operation party and maintenance party and achieve the interests balance between the two sides,we focusing on how to balance the weight of maintenance cost and risk of failure in total cost.The proportion of failure risk and maintenance cost in total cost is the target of bargaining,the three stage bargaining dynamic game model is established,which includes the operation party preferred bid and the maintenance party preferred bid.Through the comparison of the two models we can see that the first bid has an advantage,and the operation party in the game process is more powerful.
