As a very improtant part in mechanical equipment,the main function of roller bearing is to support rotationg equipment and reduce load friction during transmission process.And the roller is the most indispensable but also weakest part in bearing,whose quality affects the performance and service life of bearing.In order to overcome the shortage of traditional process and ensure machining efficiency and accuracy,this paper proposed to grind bearing roller in double-side grinding mode.Motion model was estabilished by researching the relationship among the grinding plate,roller and planetary wheel.And then derived the Locus Equation by means of Coordinate Transformation.The software Matlab was adopted to analyse the influence of straightness in different rotational speed of grinding,ratio of transmission and position.Meanwhile,analysed the influencing factors of circular degree.The theoretical system was estabilished preliminarily,which was used to guide the actual processing.On the other side,estabilished a simplified model in the software named Adams and discussed the relationship between the grinding homogeneity and different kinds of motion parameters.Checked the correctness of the Locus Equation by comparing simulation result of Matlab and Adams.Finally,the experiment discussed the effection of processing parameters such as rotation speed and fixture pattern was done,in order to prove the simulation result.Analysed the data measured by Mahr MMQ400 and came to the conclution that the experiment result accorded with the simulation result.The new processing method of bearing roller has high feasibility in improving roller precision.In the next phase of the study,need to expand the theoretical system of this processing method and set up the roller processing quality evaluation system.
