Bearing is the most important basic components in the manufacturing industry,and the cylindrical roller is the key basic element,and its precision and consistency play a decisive role in the performance and service life of the bearing.At present,cylindrical roller is widely used for cylindrical machining by centerless grinding.Because of its poor machining consistency,it is difficult to get cylindrical roller with high accuracy and consistency,which makes the application area of cylindrical roller bearings limited.In order to solve the problem of the poor consistency of the cylindrical roller,this paper analyzes the factors that affect the consistency of the cylindrical roller based on the doubleside processing method,and at the same time studies the testing method of the cylindrical roller.The principle of measuring roundness error of cylindrical roller and the error analysis of comparison measurement of diameter variation are mainly studied,which is helpful to guide the measurement of cylindrical roller after processing.The dynamic and geometric kinematic analysis of the lapping process of cylindrical roller is carried out for the double-plane lapping of cylindrical roller.With the increase of the rotating speed of the lapping plate,the angular velocity of rotation will have a critical value.The pure rolling of the cylindrical roller occurs in the lower lapping plate.The machining trajectory of the cylindrical roller mainly depends on the angular rotation speed of the cylindrical roller,which determines the machining accuracy of the cylindrical roller.The consistency of the cylindrical roller processing is quantitatively analyzed.Adams simulation software is used to simulate the processing of the cylindrical roller.The quantitative evaluation standard of the cylindrical roller was established.The speed combination and the consistency of the loading pressure on the cylindrical roller after processing influences;the experiment is carried out by using the control variable method,the influence of all components in the slurry on the consistency of cylindrical roller processing is analyzed.Through the analysis of the lapping parameters which affect the consistent of the cylindrical roller,orthogonal test is carried out for the cylindrical roller of ?11*12 GCr15 bearing steel,and the weight of the influence of abrasive grain,abrasive concentration and speed combination on the consistency of cylindrical roller was obtained.at the same time,the optimized process parameters were obtained,namely,abrasive grain of 5000#,abrasive concentration of 20.0wt%,rotation speed combination 2(upper grinding disk: lower grinding disk: inner ring gear: outer ring gear=-76:84:80:48),under this process parameters optimization test,after processing 20 min,the average circularity of the cylindrical roller batch from 0.47?m down to 0.26?m,44.7% lower than the original batch average circularity,the deviation from the initial 0.54?m to 0.22?m.The variation of batch average diameter decreased from 3?m to 1.9?m,which was 36.7% lower than that of original batch,the minimum roundness of a single workpiece can reach 0.226?m,and the surface roughness can be up to 0.018?m.This paper analyzed the factors that affect the consistency of the cylindrical roller,the establishment of quantitative evaluation of cylindrical roller consistency and quantitative analysis of the impact of various factors,and finally through the orthogonal experimental study to determine a set of processing parameters,and the machining accuracy and consistency of cylindrical roller are greatly improved.
