FT Axle To The Third Party Logistics Management Model Research

Most enterprises in china still keep the self-run logistics mode under the influence of traditional economic management system and ideas. Such mode requires companies to invest a lot of energy to operate logistical activities, which makes it difficult for companies to focus on product technology development. "FT Axle" company is the largest domestic light axle manufacture whose logistics management mode is mainly self-run logistics. As business and production yield constantly increase, a reform of logistical management becomes certainly necessary for the"FT Axle" company to respond to the changes and development in market.Under the guidance of logistics management theories, this paper adopts document research and questionnaire survey as the methods to thoroughly study the "FT Axle" company's logistical management problem from the angle of logistical management mode. Firstly this paper detailedly describes current "FT Axle" logistics management system status, the existing problems and relevant causes. Accordingly, the necessity and feasibility of choosing a third-party logistical management mode is given with an analysis as explanation. Secondly, according to the "FT Axle" company's logistics management system and its production situation, this paper discusses and studies the third-party logistical management mode including the guiding ideology, goal and principle of constructing such a mode, the contents, the framework and working flow establishment. For the last part, on basis of third-party logistical management mode given in this paper, the guarantee problem is carefully discussed under the situation when such third-party mode implemented in the "FT Axle" company.The study result shows that the third-party logistical management mode constructed for "FT Axle" company in this paper doesn't not only fit the company's situation but also feasible. Choosing a third-party logistical management mode will help the "FT Axle" company to change the current logistical management situation and save enough energy to develop new products, thereby improving core competitiveness of the company's products.
