Since 1895, Sino-Japanese War defeat the Qing government, after China Taiwan became the first overseas colony from Japan, Japan's occupation of Korea, northeast China, north China and other countries and regions through military means in succession. The Japanese colonial government would import of modern Western urban planning colony, it makes colonial tradition of urban space a dramatic change, its influence continues to this day.Evolution of the Japanese colonial policy paper for clues, investigation colonial policy specifically reflected in the colonial city planning and construction of modern Japan; using a comparative approach, study Japanese colonial city planning and construction, to learn of the common features of modern urban planning and construction of colonial Japan, clear differences between different countries or regions Japanese colonial city in space shape, also help expand the History of Modern China Urban Planning and Construction Research vision.Thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter, introducing the background, the purpose and significance of the research proposed, to study Japanese colonial city planning and construction of modern predecessors were summarized relevant, and research to define in terms of time and space. The second chapter analyzes indicate wars and colonization have an impact on urban development, and state the transformation of Japan's colonial policies affected by the international situation. The third chapter of Japanese colonial city into three categories, select representative cities summarizes its urban planning and construction activity, by comparing the induction Japanese colonial city common in urban planning. The fourth chapter on the basis of comparison of the colonial city planning and construction, discusses the relationship between different key urban construction during the colonial and colonial policies; while the former colonies of the city to try to explore contemporary urban renewal and transformation of; the fifth chapter of the stage research topics were summarized, and the prospect of follow-up studies and recommendations.
