The Study Of Project Cost Control In Design Stage With BIM

Cost control is the key direction in the field of engineering management,and it exists in planning,design and construction.According to a lot of literatures,cost control will bring different effect in different stage and cost control in design may play an important role in this field.Especially,the two way are optimizing design scheme and implementing limiting design.But there are many problems to complete well with using traditional tools.BIM is a new technology and it is based on 3D digital technology including all relevant information of a project.BIM can calculate engineering quantities rapidly and exactly,and it also combine cost control and design.So,taking BIM into cost control can make cost control more efficient.With analyzing a lot of references,this paper points ways of cost control and the problems out.Regard to these issues,BIM can provide many functions to solve them such as parameterization,visualization,collaborative design,collision detection and etc.In these functions,collaborative design can optimize design scheme;auto-calculation quantities can compute quantities rapidly,and based on this this paper suggest build a real-time system for monitoring economy of one project.This paper uses some BIM-software for validating some ideas discussed in this paper,at the same time,the study also summarizes the advantages and disadvantages and provides some suggestions.
