The Research On Plant Landscape Planning And Design With Special Reference To Birds Habitat

The report to the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China gave strong emphasis to the development of an ecological civilization. With the development of urbanization, the deterioration of the urban environment and the reduce of bird habitat make an bad impact on bird communities. Landscape architects and zoology experts have research on plant landscaping and bird communities, the they don't think about the relationship between plant landscaping and bird habitat preferences, lacking of comprehensive design.In this study, a large number of relevant literature about bird community composition,diversity, habits of birds, the selection of bird habitats and urban green spaces, vegetation habitat are analysed.(1) Bird communities feature in Beijing are summarized. The species, the maximum number of passeriformes species is 44.17% of the total number. Types of residence,passing migrant and summer migrant birds are 48.89% and 25.56% of the total number. The feeding habits, the maximum number of omnivorous birds is 43.67% of the total number. The ecological groups of bird, the maximum number of songbirds is 43.67% of the total number.(2) Needs for bird habitat and relationship between bird habitat and different types of plant communities are summarized.(3) The relationship between vegetation patterns in the fifth ring of Beijing and bird communities is analysed. The relationship between bird species and the area and the quantities of patch of vegetation is correlation. The relationship between green coverage area and bird species is positive correlation.The relationship between water park area and species of wader and natatores is positive correlation.(4) Plants landscape planning and design in respect of birds habitat is proposed. The planning of birds landscape protection design in Beijing and construction points are proposed. By increasing the level of plants landscape design and planning, planning bird corridor, to provide a reference for the bird habitats design and the basis for aspects of urban biodiversity conservation.
