In recent years, with people's emphasis on ecological restoration of aquatic environment and the concept of ecological gardens, the natural plant community landscape simulating design become the development trend of plant landscape. the construction of aquatic plant community become the important foundation of water ecological landscape construction. Therefore, the study of characteristics and community landscape design of aquatic plant communities' simulating in natural waters.Which has important theoretical and practical significance for landscape construction of urban water environment.In this paper,The zonal aquatic plants vegetation of Huaxi river in Guiyang was taken as the research object, used sample-plot and path methods to investigate and analyzed the aquatic plant resources and its natural communities. Analyzed environmental conditions, ornamental value and ecological value of aquatic plants,communities' structure, diversity index, richness index and evenness index in Huaxi river. Basic on natural or semi-natural plant communities composition, guided by the theory of landscape ecology and landscape architecture, discussed diversity and stability of aquatic plant community, selected high valuable landscape and ecological species, and analysed present situation of artificial plant community landscape,simulated design based on natural aquatic plant communities.And further explore maintenance and management technology of aquatic plant, provided certain theoretical and practical guidance for water landscape ecological design. The results of the study are as follows:(1) The survey for natural aquatic plants in Huaxi river total founded 21 genera and19 families and 24 species,there are emergent aquatic plant 7 families, 8 species which dotted distribution; The distribution of submerged plant is various, and there are 8 families and 11 species, the coverage of submerged plant is more than 90%.Thedominant species have Vallisneria natans and Hydrilla verticillata and Ottelia alismoides and Ceratophyllum demersum and Potamogeton perfoliatus.Species of Ottelia alismoides and Oenanthe javanica and Acorus tatarinowii,and ecta.Have good landscape and ecological effect and is of great application value.(2) Results of natural aquatic plant communities and its environment research showed that there are high stability and strong adaptability of natural aquatic plant community,the river showed higher self-purification ability. Through TWINSPAN analysis, it is concluded that natural plant communities in a total of seven, respectively Vallisneria natans and Ottelia alismoides community in guizhou; Polygonum hydropiper and Myriophyllum verticillatum community;Hydrilla verticillata and Vallisneria natans community;Oenanthe javanica and Nasturtium officinale community;Ceratophyllum demersumwater community; Zannichellia palustris and Vallisneria natans community;Potamogeton perfoliatus community; Dominant plant communities mostly of submerged plant, lack of emergent aquatic plant and floating plants,community level is relatively single. Widely submerged vegetation covered and have larger biomass,mostly distributed in slowly sediment area,formed of "underwater forest" plant community landscape, enriched the diversity of the water ecological system, greatly improve the water self-purification ability.(3) Study mainly aquatic plant of resources and community characteristics of six beach landscape shows that the application of aquatic plants species are mainly Zizania latifolia?Arundo donax?Thalia dealbata?Pontederia cordata?Canna indica?Scirpus tabernaemontani?Lythrum salicaria?Iris pseudacorus?Gladiolus gandavensis?Nelumbo nucifera?Nymphaea tetragona and ect.The scenic spots in plant community structure are mainly Salix babylonica?Cinnamomum camphora?Bambusoideae?Ginkgo biloba?Amygdalus persica?Acer buergerianum and ect.The scenic spots in plant community structure are mainly Amygdalus persica and Bambusoideae—Iris pseudacorus and Thalia dealbata—Nymphaea tetragona;Salix babylonica and Prunus cerasifera—Vallisneria natans;Metasequoia glyptostroboides and Salix babylonica—Iris pseudacorus and Scirpus tabernaemontani;Irispseudacorus and Broussonetia papyrifera—Nelumbo nucifera;Prunus cerasifera and Amygdalus persica—Gladiolus gandavensis and Iris tectorum.Scenic spot of aquatic plant resources and community configuration is relatively abundant, but there is less hygrophilous plant species, community configuration mode is unreasonable and the problem of community structure is relatively simple.(4) according to the study of artificial plant community structure characteristics,simulation designed form 10 aquatic plant community configuration mode.Optimizing the allocation of the shore plants and a variety of life forms aquatic plants and shrubs, build multi-level and multi-function complex plant community landscape configuration mode. Ten landscape plant community characteristics of the seasonal changes in plants, plant morphological characteristics, colour is tie-in, hierarchical structure of harmonious and unified undertakes collocation, give full play to the advantages of different plants, build a rich aquatic plant community landscape,improve the ability of landscape ecological water purification.
