Research On Layout Of Roads And Squares In Chengguan Distrcit,lanzhou

The city is a social organism which is gathered with massive population.The roads and squares is not only the structure basis of the city,but affect the cultural and economic development in the city.As the only large zone-oriented central district which is combined with moutains and river,divided by railways,the Chengguan District has its own inborn deficiency in roads and squares construction,because of its restriction of physic-geographical environment.This inborn deficiency brings about traffic jams and the loss of the characteristics of city space.The paper does a research on the construction situation of the roads and squares in Chengguan District with quantitative study methods, qualitative study methods,field methonds and interdisciplinary study methods.The research objectives of the paper is to define the problem in the construction of roads and squares,analyze the demands,hunt for the strategies to solve the contradiction between the development and the construction of the infrastructure,and finnaly accelerate the operation efficiency in the city,increase the happiness index of the residents.The paper is composed of six chapters:Chaper One discusses the predicament of urban illness and the loss of the characteristics of city space in the back ground of rapid urbanization in China.This chaper also raises the objectives and significance,study methods,main points,study scopes and the structure of the paper.Chaper two discusses the origin,expresses the meaning and layout requirements of the roads and squares.Chaper Three confirms the deficiency of the study with roads and squares in the Chinese research field.Chaper four reviews evolution of the city space in Chengguan District and ascertains the real problems,via the analysis on the current situation and demands of the roads and squares.Chaper Five presents corresponding strategies to solve the contradiction above.Chapter Six concludes the study results and put forward the deficiency of the study,imagines the study direction of the field in the future.
