With the rapid progress of global economic integration and development of science and technology, large construction projects and the complexity of processes more and more projects, for these large projects and complex processes of project often longer duration,investment is larger, to the national economy has great influence. The scope of the current global project exists time delay phenomenon, which will inevitably lead to budget overruns,greatly increase the cost of. Therefore, the project schedule management is the key of project management, there is a great significance.The progress of the project determines the required for the completion of the project cost budget, allocation of resources, such as a series of inevitable problems, develop and perfect project progress plan and by strengthening the schedule control is one of the important work of the project will be completed on schedule.Preparation and optimization of project schedule planning is the core of project schedule management, project schedule is correct and reasonable establishment is the important content of project schedule management. This paper will use the theory of project schedule, to Xiyuan Vista 13# residential building project as the background, on the progress of the project of management and optimization. This paper first introduces the research background and research significance and research status at home and abroad and related theories of project management are described. Secondly, the project general situation and organization and resource allocation were introduced, the in-depth analysis of the problems and reasons existing in the progress of the project management, so as to put forward the improvement measures of project schedule management.Again, according to the construction scheme of the project and relevant experience of the project of work structure decomposition, for each process are defined, determine the logical relationship between the various processes, using correlation method to estimate the duration of working procedure, and drawing to the Gantt chart and single code network chart, and the preparation of a project of the second level network plan, and specific reflect the operation process and sequence of construction, so as to the progress of the project, laying a foundation for the improvement of. Finally, the use of single code spliced network planning the initial schedule optimization, through the process construction process were analyzed, and the existence of overlapping relationship process arrangement and control, the optimized network total duration relationship for 20 days. The impact of project progress management, such as safety,materials and document management, give full play to the various functions of the project management, continue to strengthen and improve the management, to ensure the construction safety, quality, fast implementation.
