Energy consumption increased as the number of public building grown up caused by development of economy,that's why the modification of energy consumption of public building had received the widespread attention.For marketplace,its high request in comfort demand,large energy consumption of lighting and equipments as well as long cooling time made energy consumption indexes higher than other buildings.Find out the bugs in erergy consumption of marketplace and effevtive measures to conserve energy concerned energy consumption problems mostly.This paper combined field investigation and eQUEST together to predict energy consumption of marketplace at Shenzhen,thus develop full energy saving potential and provide theories foundation for the standard-setting of energy consumption.A survey about basic information and energy consumption characteristics of six shopping malls in Shenzhen was done firstly,energy consumption indexs varied a lot from 130.1 kWh/(m~2·a)to 358.9 kWh/(m~2·a),of which lighting and air condition consumption have the largest share.The major issues including:(1)air condition system relied on human manipulated completely;(3)difference in temperature between supply and return water was small;(4)power density of lighting equipment was too high;all these issues indicated great energy saving of marketplace in Shenzhen.A standard model of marketplace was built to develop full energy saving potential of air condition system,influence factors including enclosure structure,internal energy load,energy efficiency were quantitative analysed,to weight the influence of each factor,the notability analysis were also be done according to geostatistics algorithm.Results shown heat transfer coefficient of enclosure structure affected energy consumption of air condition less than shading coefficient of windows and window-wall ratio,internal energy load and energy efficiency of air condition affected energy consumption of public building a lot,corresponding energy saving strategy was proposed.A typical case was emphase here,its energy consumption indexe before reconstruction was 263.08 kWh/(m~2·a),and remarkable saving of 1.1million k Wh electric energy per year can be concluded after lighting and air condition system were modified.Energy consumption simulation results of eQUEST shown that lighting energy consumption and analog value error was small while air condition error was unsatisfactory,but this simulation method can be used to calculate energy saving at the first stage of program selection.This paper provided certain reference value for energy-saving reconstruction and the determination of saving amount of marketplace in Shenzhen.
