Tentative Construction Of Pure Land Style Garden Applied By 16 View Method

This thesis is derived from my dream and pursuit of the ancient Chinese classics of Pure land Buddhism.As an eternal and ideal place,the metaphor of pure land give me a question: Can the creating of the real place show the unknown state? This idea leads me to explore the possibility of constructing the real pure land space.The main body start form the pure land temple of China,through the analysis of their construction elements and its influence to overseas,leads to the generation of Pure Land Buddhism in japan courtyard.This speculation means that the pure land garden could be created in the native place.In gardens of literati creation,Lingyun Xie's Shining Manor has the meaning of pure land.The shape and structure of manor might even be the predecessor of the later literati garden.All these provided references for the guess of pure land style garden.Even better,Lingyun Xie use Buddhism of sixteen view method to guide the creation,which inspire me to apply 16 View Method to boot the shape and structure features of pure land style garden.Based on the above way,I would figure out the structure features of pure land style garden: Elevation stand with the light,the false water landscape,the crystal ground,the deep and wide tree array,eight soft Lotus Lakes and the solemn synthesis of the buildings with overlooking,give the people in a different sense of the spiritual blessings.Finally people can obtain the introversion of perception and understanding in the building from space.Although this view method is a subjective product,it represents a possibility of speculation;In a broad sense,it deduces the place to form pure land means,and thus respond to the current demand for the meaning of the place.In the meantime,It contained both the indoctrination function and the touring entertainment experience,both easy experience in the garden,and the monastic education function,resulting in being the ideal space for literati's study and practice.
