Research On The Design Of City Bus Terminal Response To The Rush Hours

With the continuous development of social economy nowadays, the city bus Terminal plays a more and more important role in everyday life. And With the improvement of living standards, people's requirements on the quality of urban bus passenger transportation are also increasing. City bus Terminal is the portal of urban bus passenger transportation, and a quite important part of the urban bus passenger transportation. In China, the design of city bus Terminal tends to be mature in both function and pattern.However, due to various reasons, city bus Terminal will face peaks of people number in specific periods. And at this time, most passenger stations are baffled by this rash of crowed, which leaves a poor bus-taking experience to passengers.The architectural design and planning design of city bus Terminal are two quite complicated systems influencing each other. The reasonable and smooth operation of both of them is directly related to the quality of the whole passenger station. So guiding and evacuating people reasonably in rush hours to make the city bus Terminal flexible in rush hours is a very important quality in bus station design.On the basis of the abovementioned questions, this paper will refine, summarize and conclude the city bus Terminal design in the Yangtze River Delta area by using successful experience of related domestic and foreign cases for reference and applying modern architectural design theories and leading architectural design methods to discuss on the coping strategies and specific methods of city bus Terminal to face rush hours in building and planning. In this paper, the Liyang Bus Passenger Terminal that I took part in is a typical and practical case, according to this case,I hope to explore the future design trend of urban bus passenger station, and we can also use these strategy to optimization the city bus Terminal design in our country.
