In order to meet the green,and environmental travel needs of people,some lake tourism highways have set bike lanes and sidewalks.There are cars,bicycles and pedestrians on this kind of highway,which causes a lot of traffic safety hazards.It also makes security facility design of the lake tourism highway become more complex than ordinary roads.How to evaluate the effect of lake tourism highway security facility design scheme and provide scientific basis and technical guidance for the design of the security facility is now an urgent need to solve the problem of our highway security facility design.This paper takes the Dali East Erhai Ring Road as the basis.By analyzing the lake tourism highway's traffic characteristics and security needs,it discusses the main type and application features of the lake tourism highway security facilities.On this basis,from the security facility application evaluation point of view,the lake tourism highway security facilities have be divided into three types,that is,the sight induced,velocity control and security type.And according to the characteristics and use requirements of each security facilities,this essay put forward the corresponding security facility application evaluation method.It provides a theoretical basis and technical guidance for further optimize the design of security facilities and improve the security facility performance and safety level.For sight inducible security facilities,this paper has analyzed the visibility principle of traffic signs and markings from the human visual effect,and established application effect evaluation index of signs and markings;It has proposed application effect evaluation method based on 3dsMAX simulation software for these two typical sight inducible security facilities as traffic signs and protruding signs.Meanwhile,it discussed the simulation process,and analyzed the simulation results.For speed-controlled security facilities,the thesis select the effect evaluation of deceleration facilities from the changes of vehicle motion parameters,occupants' physiological response and vehicle speed in the process of the vehicle through deceleration facility.It came up with application effect evaluation method of speed-controlled security facility based on the simulation evaluation software as ADAMS/Car.Finally,it constructed evaluation criteria of barrier protection performance through the analysis of securityfence's structure and protective performance.And then it proposed a simplified calculation model of cable barrier protection properties.Taking Dali East Erhai Road as an example,this paper uses the above evaluation method to study the applications effect of traffic signs,protruding signs,deceleration facilities and security fence in several typical sections.The results showed that: the traffic security facilities embodiments of Dali East Erhai Road are reasonable,can play the corresponding inducing sight,reduce the speed and safety protection effect.Thereby it has tested the feasibility and effectiveness of evaluation methods.It also finds and identifies the problem or defect of security facility design in the particular evaluation process,providing technical guidance for security facilities optimized design of the lake road.In addition,it has certain guiding significance and reference value to the security facility design and application effect evaluation of other highways.
