Explosion accident and bomb attacks to occur, according to some statistics, the explosion accident in 70% casualties due to two damage blast effects brought on high-speed spatter architectural glass damage caused by the debris. Properties of blast-resistant glazing become the focus of attention.Due to element deleting, the system control equations are no longer valid by using the traditional element deleting method to simulate the generation of glass crack. It makes the numerical simulation accuracy not high. This thesis, based on the explicit finite element dynamic software LS-DYNA, proposes node separation method to simulate the generation of glass crack, avoiding element deleting and ensuring the system control equations are valid. By using two methods to simulate the glass breaking in an explosion test, comparing the numerical simulation result finds that fragments' maximum projectile velocity, maximum splashing distance and breaking form fit best with the test when using node separation method that verified the accuracy of the node separation method. In addition, the thesis, by using statistical methods, minutely statistics the glass fragments size distribution, projectile velocity distribution and splashing distance distribution of the numerical simulation results using the two methods. The result shows: with the decrease of the explosion's ratio distance, more small fragments generates, projectile velocity is lager and splashing distance is farther; node separation method is superiority in simulating small size fragment breaking of glass.
