EPC Project Cost Management Model Research

The EPC mode represents the mainstream of modern engineering project management.Cost management is the EPC project general contracting enterprise of project management is a key function can directly determines the as the contractor’s general contracting enterprise in the fierce market competition for survival and development.Annually in recent years the domestic EPC project contract amount to hundreds of billions of yuan,such a huge amount,if the reasonable cost management mode of management,will save a lot of money for the country.At present our country most of the EPC general contracting enterprises has gradually use effective cost management mode to guide the EPC project of operation,but also in the cost management during project execution exists many problems.Paper introduces the research trend in EPC project management,mainly expounds the summary of cost management theory,combined with the cost of the project management theory analysis of the current situation of EPC project cost management in our country,it is concluded that the root of restricting our EPC project cost management problems is not a set of effective cost management mode,because now the EPC project cost management mode is more or less is the management idea,management mechanism is not scientific,the old management method is not appropriate,the management process is not fully these deficiencies.On how to improve the EPC project cost management mode,this paper analyzes the influence factors such as design,procurement,construction and commissioning.Starting from the influence factors,puts forward a set of effective mode of EPC project cost management,namely update project cost management idea,establishing scientific cost management mechanism,to choose the appropriate cost management method and manage the whole process cost management mode.Finally,in actual project proves that using this kind of cost management mode can obtain good effect.
