Modern Bank Buildings Design Research In Northeast China

Since ancient times,Chinese society gives priority to the self-sufficient natural economy,because of its unique geographical environment and special rule of policy in the late Qing Dynasty,Northeast has been in status of slow development,backward economy.After the opium war in 1840,China entered the semi-colonial and semi-feudal society.When the second opium war broke out in 1858,Russian power entered into the northeast region,Northeast officially entered into modern colonial times,but did not change the original economic system.Yingkou opened treaty ports until 1861,natural economic system turned to commodity economy,which stimulates the development of the whole northeast merchandise trade.Northeast has its special nature of colony,successively experienced three stages of colonial in a short period of time including Russian Occupation-Russian-Japanese Opposition-Japanese Occupation,become a special area of fighting among multi-powers.Culture among China,Russia and Japan experiences from collision with each other to mutual tolerance,which creates modern northeast special historical period and unique so cial environment.Complex multilateral culture has given rise to a lot of architectures with colonial color and Chinese and western qualities.As one of the most special public buildings,banks relying on abundant resources and government support,is often a combination of the most avant-garde design concepts and advanced construction technology,enough to represent the top building development level in this special period.Therefore,in order to understand the architectural history of the development in a particular area and the special historical background,specially selects northeast modern bank buildings as the research object,through collecting,reading and sorting literature historical data,carrying out ample field survey at the same time,eventually presents original research results in text,graphics,graphic model way.This paper studied on classification of establishment background,distribution characteristics,and construction elements of bank buildings during northeast modern period,sorted out community and differences in elements,like development situation,location distribution and construction characteristics of banks in China in different periods and regions,and summarized the main affecting factors.At the same time,from the perspective of urban development,reposition the historical heritage buildings of great significance.In addition,the paper as an important complement to historical data,will provide academic research with more comprehensive source of information.
