In the small high-efficiency and high-speed centrifugal blower and other high-end equipment, high speed gearbox as the key component, directly determines the overall performance of the equipment, so it is very important to study small and efficient high speed gearbox. With the development of the gear box to high speed, high efficiency and high reliability, high performance requirements of small high-efficiency and high-speed gear box is more and more high. But compared with foreign advanced high speed gearbox, high speed gear box has the problem of low efficiency, short life, and the appearance of large fault, which seriously restrict the development of China’s high-end equipment manufacturing industry. In order to break the monopoly of foreign technology and realize the localization and industrialization of small and high efficiency centrifugal blower, the design and optimization of small high efficiency and high speed gear box are studied in this paper, the main contents are as follows:1. The optimization design of high speed gear box transmission system. In view of the high speed gear box at all levels of the speed difference is large and the use of a different life problems, An optimization method based on equal contact fatigue life is proposed for high speed gear box transmission ratio distribution were optimized. Also use MATLAB software to two parallel shaft transmission ratio distribution developed the program interface, the design is simple and effective.2. Efficiency calculation and analysis of high speed gear box. In this paper, the calculation formula of the total efficiency of small high efficiency and high speed gear box is presented. Considering the influence of various parameters on the efficiency loss of the gear box, the efficiency analysis and calculation of the small high-efficiency and high-gear box is carried out, which lays the foundation for the efficiency optimization of small and high efficiency high speed gear box.3. The optimization analysis of efficiency of sliding bearing. By using the efficiency calculation formula proposed in this paper, the proportion of various kinds of losses in the total loss is obtained. At the same time, the large proportion of sliding bearing has been studied. The radial sliding bearing and fixed pad thrust bearing respectively on friction coefficient and power loss as the objective function, to design parameters as variables, using MATLAB to optimize the calculation and get the optimal parameters and the maximum efficiency. At the same time, the analysis and comparison of the optimization of the efficiency of gear box values.4. Performance test of small high-efficiency and high-speed gear box. In accordance withthe test procedure of the new product, the high speed gear box has done the no-load running test, the performance indexes meet the design requirements, and the lubricating oil temperature rise in the design scope, the reliability of the lubrication system is verified.
