| The rapid development of urbanization and the new countryside construction have a huge impact on the traditional village landscape. Many villages are confronted with unprecedented development opportunities and challenges. Because of the special geographical position and landscape resources of the village in the scenic spot, it is facing contradictions between cultural and physical landscape conservation and village development. How to adapt to the needs of the trend of our era put forward a serious challenge to the planning and design of village in the scenic spot.Nowadays, the mode of life and production change greatly. Vernacular is not only the demand of regional landscape but also the soul of rural landscape. Landscape narrative is a type in modern landscape. Vernacular landscape narratives organize and design the vernacular landscape with the method of telling vernacular stories. Under the premise of satisfying the visual image and ecological function, it can express the intangible cultural and spiritual connotation through the material carrier, which can arouse the tourists’ emotional experiences. With the methods of literature analysis, interdisciplinary research, field survey and questionnaire and so on, the paper focuses on the design method of the vernacular landscape narrative of village in the scenic spot, and exploring a mode for its rural tourism.On the theoretical research, the related conceptions of village in the scenic spot and vernacular narrative landscape are explained. In the basis of the characteristics of village in the scenic spot, taking vernacular landscape as the design carrier, the structure of vernacular landscape narrative is analyzed systematicly from three aspects:they are narrative media, narrator and recipient, the narrating and reading perspective. The choice of narrative words for the vernacular story is studied in detail based on physical and non-physical landscape elements. This paper also expounds the organization mode of vernacular story scene. At last, the design strategies of vernacular narrative landscape are discussed.On the practical research, combining theory research with case practice, the planning and design of Dujia Village in Cherry Garden Scenic Spot, Mount Tai Scenic Area as an example is applied. Based on the site research, the landscape elements are refined and analyzed the analogies of narrative semantics from the perspective of users. Taking "Tracing the Source" as the theme, the narrative planning is divided into four chapters:introduction, county life, farming and rural settlement, and future. The narrative stories are arranged to connect the four theme area together at the direction against the water flow to express the emotions of nostalgia. According to the characteristics of the different chapters, the narrative landscape elements are organized and the story scenes are created. It looks forward to supply a reference for the sustainable development for the village and the scenic area. |
