Currently,there are still lots of problems in expressway asphalt road surface maintenance,and thus,the cost of maintenance can be so high,the limited maintenance funds can t be fully functioning;there ll be more maintenance work and higher cost of maintenance because the preventive maintenance isn t in time.Therefore,using scientific maintenance strategies,establishing a suitable plan of the pavement maintenance for different pavement can settle the contradiction between the maintenance cost and investment income,improve the quality of pavement,increase the service life of pavement,the maintenance funds can be used more efficiently,the cost-effective can be enhanced,the internal rate of return can be increased and the returns from your investments maximized.Because of all this,according to Bo-Fu Expressway,maintenance technique of expressway asphalt road surface has been studied systemically in this article,so the expressway pavement performance can be improved,despite the limitation of maintenance funds and resources.First,according to the analysis of the investigation of Bo-Fu Expressway of the historic traffic(2006 ~2010),combined with the changes in the characteristics of the project history traffic,the interim(2011 ~2015)traffic forecast model(power index model)was built up based on reasonable traffic volume prediction method.Combined with the existing OD situation to analyze forward mutation factor adjustment,getting the long-term(2016 ~ 2036)traffic volume forecasting results.Based on traffic flow in combination with the existing standards,calculating the toll revenue according to the Bo-Fu Expressway middle and long-term traffic.Second,this paper made a comprehensive statistic analysis about the detection data on technical conditions of Bo-Fu Expressway and established a road performance prediction model.The reasons and influence factors caused the diseases of asphalt pavement have been analysised combining with test data.The main factors including engineering factors,material factors,environmental factors and so on.Pavement diseases of Bo-Fu Expressway is not serious,the variety of diseases is small and quantity is less.Through the analysis of a number of indexes that affect pavement performance PQI,the two indexes of PCI and RQI are selected as the prediction model of pavement performance.Amoung them PCI is used to characterize the pavement damage,and RQI is used to characterize the ride comfort of the road surface.At the same time,the pavement structure strength index PSSI is adopted as the evaluation index of pavement bearing capacity.Third,This paper has collected and sorted out the common maintenance measures and applicable conditions of Expressway at home and abroad.According to the actual conditions of Bo-Fu Expressway,the decision tree on road maintence is draw up and the best programs of maintenance about preventive maintenance,major repair and minor repair is decided by comparison and selection on cost effectiveness.Different programs of maintenance formulated and long term performance prediction is made for different road segments,by referring maintaining measures and Pavement Prediction Models.According to the given conservation planning,zhe road performance can be kept on a good level and better than reactive maintenance.Through the summarizing of various sections of the medium and long term maintenance measures,based on Bo-Fu expressway bridge maintenance fund management planning scheme,the Bo Fu expressway bridge and culverts maintenance planning of total funds was got,which was matched with toll revenues,finding that the year of maintenance investment focus was not corresponded with the tension degree of cash flow.The maintenance cost of Bo-Fu Expressway in it s running period is more than the national average cost and the average cost of Fujian Province,but can achieve better road performance.
