Research On Design Works And Ideas Of The Contemporary Architect Huang Xingyuan

Huang Xingyuan is a famous contemporary Chinese architects, the national master of engineering design, the state chartered class registered architect, the winner of the fifth "Liang Sicheng Architecture Award". Engaged in architectural work for 53 years, Huang Xingyuan presided and participated in the design of a large number of state key construction projects, took over the project more than a hundred items all over the country. Facing the alternate enviornment of society, politics, and ideological trend of architecture, he has always maintained the " rational kernel of the modernism". Through the clear logic, the contracted form, and the modest technology, coping with the complex terrain enviornment and functional requirements, and achieving the excellent and quality design naturally.The main body of this paper includes three parts:The third chapter from is from the perspective of bottom-up, according to the historical period, Huang Xingyuan design career is divided into four stages: respectively for the "third-line construction" period (1963-1977), the "reform and opening up" period (1978-1989), "the SAR building" period (1990-1999), "architectural studio" period (2000-present), combing Huang Xingyuan's architectural works, and summarizes the characteristics of each period representative works and ideas of development.The fourth chapter is the summarization from top-to-down, analyzes and summaries the architectural language of Huang Xingyuan's building work, it's divided into the arvhitectural form, and the design methods.The fifth chapter sublimated to the methodological level, summarizes architectural concept of Huang Xingyuan. On the basis of the "modernist rational kernel", analyzea emphatically its theoretical tendencies derived respectively from urban planning, architecture ontology, including three aspects:New industrial buildings, Background, Honest building.The sixth chapter analysis the bottom-top again, through the idea penetration in the DHC Software Park which dominant designed by Huang Xingyuan, prove that his theory is mature from from the point view of the practical work.This paper take Huang Xingyuan designs and ideas as the research subject, through the analysis of his architecture, architectural language and idea, hope is not only of theoretical results, but works with the development of the theory origin and process.
