A Review Of Xi’an Contemporary Architectural Theories Based On The Analysis Of Architectural Works

Since 1949,the construction industry in Xi’an has developed steadily.From the stage of "crossing the river by feeling the stones" to the more mature design stage now,a large number of architectural works have been completed in Xi’an,and a certain regional style and creative concept have been formed..Through the statistical analysis of Xi’an’s architectural works in the past 70 years,it has reference significance for the architectural creation and theoretical research of Xi’an.First of all,the thesis collects various types of architectural works as scientifically and comprehensively as possible: office,residential,commercial,financial,sports,cultural,medical and other buildings.According to the classification of different functions of the building,the research of the design unit,and the area of architectural works,it is collected in several categories.Then,using the methods of measurement history and other methods to analyze the characteristics of external data and theoretical research,the internal and external,vertical and horizontal comparisons are carried out.In the analysis part of "data characteristics",quantitative research methods are used to analyze the annual changes of the collected architectural works according to each type,the distribution of design units,the area of architectural works,the relationship between the number of award-winning works and non-awarded works,etc.Through data statistics,the development trend of architecture in Xi’an since the founding of the People’s Republic of China is reflected from the side.In the analysis part of "theoretical research characteristics",under various historical stages over the past 70 years,this article mainly selects architectural morphological characteristics and composition design characteristics for analysis.In terms of morphological characteristics,quantitative and qualitative analysis methods are used.The morphological characteristics of various buildings have been sorted out in the past few years.In terms of composition theory,qualitative analysis methods combined with some illustrations have been used to sort out various buildings.Finally,based on the statistical data in this article,sum up the development trend of contemporary architecture in Xi’an in various periods,and combine the architectural characteristics of each period to sort out the theoretical trends of contemporary architecture in Xi’an in various periods,in order to hope that the future of Xi’an Provide research materials and reference for architectural theory research in Shaanxi Province.
