Switched reluctance motor is new electromechanical integration adjustable-speed motor, it has some characteristics with simple structure, more controllable parameters, good speed control performance and reliable running. This motor usually suitable or use in electric vehicles, ships and aircraft driving device. SRM's performance directly influences its running state, so its performance test is necessary. At present, domestic various detection methods have their own situation and limitations. So how to build an intelligent SRM testing system has become the focus in this dissertation.This dissertation first introduces the development status of SRM and its test system over the world, and the advantages of virtual instrument for testing. It is briefly analyzes the working principle and mathematical model of SRM, Because of the flux is an important characteristic of SRM, and the magnetization curves is the basis of motor modeling, position detection and performance analysis. So this paper puts forward the method of measuring flux offline, Based on the test data of flux, the motor flux model using rapid modeling and simulation method, and then gives the simulation waveform, which provide the basis for the analysis of motor performance testing system. Secondly, This paper build a hardware platform of the test system that with 12/8 pole, power of 3kw SRM, introduced the power converter drive circuit, control circuit, signal detection conditioning circuit and communication circuit, etc. Finally, the data is transmitted to the PC through the data acquisition card, and Lab VIEW used as a virtual instrument software development environment for software design, And has made the concrete analysis to each software module. The PC test system can automatic collection, analysis, display and storage the switched reluctance motor current, voltage, speed, torque signals,and exchange the information between PC and motor controller or load for better control.To debug and run the system, it indicates that this SRM testing system is realized in the form of a graphical interface to the monitor of the motor, with the advantages of convenient operation, reliable data, superior performance and the interface intuitive and easy to understand, it can improve the testing level of SRM and work efficiency and make the motor more safe and reliable.
