In recently decade, with the power electronic technology, the development of the theory of square wave electric-depth study and application of rare-earth permanent magnet, various kinds of newly structure motor appear, electric vehicle further promoted the emergence of high power density drive motor development, in a variety of new special motors, transverse flux motor (TFM) in recent years begun to study the structure of a new motor, because of its torque with the power density has unique advantages, as well as a flexible structural design, diversification into the present study the topological structure of hot spots.This article describes a variety of topologies transverse magnetic motor, and analysis of their working principle and electromagnetic relations on this basis a new structure proposed transverse flux reluctance motor (Transverse flux switched reluctance motor, referred to as TFSRM), simplify the complexity of the motor structure and related issues around the motor a series of studies.
