Switched reluctance motor (SRM) is a new type of speed regluating motor,which is widely applied in many indusrtial fields because of its stator and rotorstructure with salient pole solid laminated, around a concentrated winding on thestator, no winding and permanent magnets on the rotor, simple structure,relatively reliable performance. The two-phase SRM has the simplest structure inthe SRM. The two-phase points flux SRM (PFSRM) with three kinds of rotortooth structure are proposed in this paper, three kinds of rotor tooth structure aredesigned in order to solve the self-starting problem of two-phase SRM, the theoryof PFSRM with three kinds of rotor tooth structure is analyzed, the structure ofPFSRM with three kinds of rotor tooth structure is optimized, the dynamiccharacteristics of PFSRM with three kinds of rotor tooth structure is researched.The main tasks are following:Fisitly, based on widely understanding of research results at home andoboard, PFSRM with three kinds of rotor tooth structure is proposed, the statorof this motor is two phase structure with the width six teeth,the rotor is uniformwidth three teeth structure, the series connection method is adopted for statorwinding. In order to solve the problem of self-starting, the three new rotor toothstructure are designed including step air gap, curve shape of air gap, embeddedair gap.Secondly, the working priciple of PFSRM is systematically analyzed by theprinciple of minimal reluctance and mathematical model of PFSRM is estabished.The electromagnetic torque output is studied by vatiable of winding magneticchain, current and position of rotor and analysis method of magnetic function.Thirdly, the influence of motor structure parameters on the static magneticchain and static torque characteristics is discussed by finite element modeling andsimulation calculation of three kinds of rotor tooth structure step air gap, curveshape of air gap, embedded air gap. The motor windings current, open windingangle and turning-off angle are optimized in order to improve the average outputtorque and reduce the torque ripple. The rotor tooth structure paramenters withhigh output torque, small torque ripple and high reliability are optimized by analyzing the simulation results of PFSRM with three rotor teeth structure.Finally, nonlinear model and control model system of PFSRM areestablished by nonlinear interpolation in MATLAB and winding inductance,torque angle of characteristic data caluctalted in FLUX software magnetic chain.The strategy of optimizing opened and shut off angle is used to analyze thechange curve of phase current, output torque and rotational waveform in PFSRMand torque ripple of PFSRM and system dynamic characteristic are researched.
