Civil aero-engine as a highly complex and precision machinery, is the "heart" of the aircraft, and it is the driving force to promote the development of civil aircraft vigorously.Civil aero-engine as a high value-added products in the development of the national economy occupies very important position and function, but only by gaining the airworthiness certification can civil aero-engine enter the civil aircraft marke. Airworthiness technology started relatively late in our country, talent resources of airworthiness are very scarce, and airworthiness management ability needs to improve.Using computer software technology to research and develop civil aero-engine airworthiness management information system can effectively improve the work efficiency, and apparently it will provide important help and guidance for airworthiness management work.In this paper, by deep study of civil aviation engine airworthiness certification process and the applicant's actual situation, Civil aero-engine airworthiness information management system is designed and developed. Main research contents were as follows: 1. The further study of the process and tasks during every stage of obtaining civil aero-engine's type certificate is done, and induction analysis for information involved in each stage has been carried on; 2. Considering the airworthiness approval process and the applicant's actual situation, the organization model, management model andworkflow model of the airworthiness management information system are established; 3. The design and research of the architecture, system framework, database, business module and development strategy of airworthiness management information system is carried out, and the preliminary design scheme of the civil aero-engine airworthiness information management system is completed; 4. Based on the secondary development of software platform, custom module of the airworthiness information management system has been developed, completing the development of the airworthiness information management system.At present, the system has been installed and used in a domestic civil aero-engine design institute, and it is playing an important role in the approval process management.
