Nowadays the world have listed large aircraft manufacturing as a key research area, and in this area, the reasonable large aircraft integral panel manufacturing technology has been an important part of the large aircraft manufacturing. At present, the bending forming, peening and the creep aging forming have been developed to form panels, and they have a significant role for solving many problems for panel forming. However, the ribbed panel is unavoidable to emerge some problems such as the ribs offset, wrinkle phenomenon and so on, and these problems would greatly affect the panel forming quality and its service life. Therefore, it is urgently important to do some researches to optimize the ribs stabilization when the integral panel forming.In this paper, based on the bending forming and the creep aging forming mentioned above, under the idea of multi-points forming and incremental forming, for the purpose to improve the forming stabilization of the panel ribs, the multistage integral incremental forming and incremental aging compound forming have been put forward. And the technological processes of these two methods were introduced, and the process and the results of ribbed panel forming were analyzed through the numerical simulation.By taking advantage of the flexibility of the multi-points punches, the multistage integral incremental forming model was established by the commercial finite element software ABAQUS. The stress condition of the panel using the multi-points punches was analyzed. And the simulation process analyzed the change of the stress and strain, the results of the ribs offsets and the condition of the ribs under the multistage integral incremental forming and the directly bend forming. For the incremental aging compound forming, it used the simplified calculation model analyze the forming process and compared the stress, strain and the ribs offsets of the results with those by the multistage integral incremental forming and traditional creep aging forming. And it proved that the multistage integral incremental forming and incremental aging compound forming had the advantage of improving the stabilization of the ribs when the panel forming.In this paper, the effect of one technological parameter on the ribs through the two forming methods mentioned above was analyzed systematically by maintaining other factors constant, including the increment of incremental forming, the size of the multi-points punches, the incremental number and so on. And successfully got the ratio of the height of ribs to the radius of curvature of the panel which could guaranteed the stabilization of the ribs. These provided some guidance on parameters selection.
