The customer electronics market is changing dramatically with the growth of smartphones, tablets and other smart mobile devices market. Because of the smart device applications, consumers live and work in a more convenient and efficient environment. Since intelligent network being built, no matter who first unify the hardware and software environment will become the IT industry leader. Intel is aware of the wireless intelligent equipment has broad market prospects, starting expand their business from PC field to the field of wireless intelligent equipment. At the same time, install x86 version application on to smart mobile devices can release x86 device performance. Intel knows how important the compatibility of the hardware and software is, so that it is essential to develop an application to provide all kinds of x86 version applications, to update and replace apps for smart mobile device which has Intel Atom chip. Under this environment, Intel decide to develop the project of x86 Essential App Collections(Code Name:i Apps).The thesis is based on the project of x86 Essential App Collections. Firstly, in the beginning of the thesis, the author introduces the current situation and development trend of app store and also puts forward to the design research background, significance, content and process, and ultimately reaches to the basic direction of design.Secondly, this paper elaborates the project background of x86 Essential App Collections, combining with the research of related products market and competitors, making a list of the advantages and disadvantages of these products, analyzing implementation technology, avenue model, features, interactive experience, and then abstract design opportunities.Then, the Atom ISV/Application Enabling Team start analyzing preliminary demands, investigating target users' needs. Finally, set up the basic function of the product, information architecture(IA), function modules, interactive flow. The detail of the interactive interface design contains layout design, navigation & information design, control design.
