The Research On The Benign Development Of The Human Settlement Of The Untypical Traditional Villages In Heritage Area Of Hani Terraced Fields

The traditional villages are the carriers and living fossils of the Chinese traditional culture. As a social community unit, their social and economic development are always based on the background of the regional culture. However, the rapid urbanization are devouring the original style of the villages, because the traditional architecture, the spatial pattern,the environment and the traditional customer are all protected or destoryed stupidly and bossily at high speed. As a result, we can only see these disappearing gradually helplessly.In order to protect the untypical traditional villages in Yuanyang Heritage Area by the means of dynamic and flexibility, we must make the villages satisfy the need of the space and function in modern society. Since the development of these villages is based on the needs of the villagers, it obviously can not measure up to the expectation of the villagers by the traditional static protection and development. So it is urgent to update the village’s form and function partly to adapt the new demands.The thesis is from a human settlement angle to carry out a systematic research into the protection and development of the untypical traditional villages in Yuanyang Heritage Area. Meanwhile, the thesis also try to learn about the untypical traditional villages under the influences of the modern lifestyle and find out the changes of the local environment and lifestyle that the architecture made.This thesis start off the theoretical framework of the science of the human settlements. It carry out an analysis systemically and completely of the environment, the human’s association and demands, the spatial growth model, the cultural construction of the residents and the management system. Secondly, the text will analysis the current problems in the untypical traditional villages under the influences of the modern lifestyle combining the methodology of the science of the human settlements. On the basis, the text will summarize the alien characteristic that is, inherit and variation, gradual and sudden change and then go on a different levels of analysis of the alien system.Thirdly, it will put forward the benign development mechanism in the aspect of the natural econological environment, humanism, economic development model, the spatial development mechanism, the global outlook and management system. Finally, the text will take Dongpu village,Mengpin village and Mali village for example to go on a research into the protection and development of the untypical traditional village to check the rationality and practicability of the theory.
