Studies On Hani Nationality’s Traditional Settlements Of Mangang Village In Xishuangbanna

Living in Xishuangbanna branch of the Hani nationality has always been less concern for scholars, under the influence of multiple factors such as regional culture and natural environment, gradually formed their unique settlement pattern, and their dwellings style is completely different with the Honghe Hanis’.By Anatomizing and analyzing this historic preservation, gives us an opportunity of an insight into the ideological roots and philosophy of their settlement location, construction, settlement pattern and evolution, for the inheritance and development of traditional Hani regional culture has a positive meaning.The object of study in this thesis is Menghai Mangang Village traditional settlement, through fieldwork and surveying and mapping author collected many firsthand material.The study use a classic method of architecture research into the Settlement, but also has been added to the studies of settlement plant landscape and culture. The author firstly begins with an overview Mangang village background information that include natural and cultural background, classification and vpe of settlement, selection of Settlement site and its influencing factor.Then it mainly analyzes Mangang village settlement characteristics of settlement patterns from three aspects.Firstly of settlement spatial be researched from the macro and micro levels, and the author focus on these (?)ment’s spatial feature and the causes of developing and its interrelationship study.Secondly it study on the origin and type of the dwellings (Yongge) from the perspective of the history, and then focus on its developing trend.The third part study on plant landscape of and culture in Mangang settlement, mainly analyze culture of plant above settlements, relations of "garden" and modern Landscape Architecture, main characteristics of terrace’s agriculture landscape below.Finally put forward the problems of which is facing in the development nowadays and the author give his point of view.Through the understanding of Mangang village settlement system, the author concludes it to give designer inspiration in design,and put forward some ideas of studies on settlements.
