Study On The Public Space Optimization Strategy Of SND In Perspective Of Humanization Idea

The main function of Suzhou High-tech Development Zone when started is for industry, with the focus of cultivating the production space, which leads to insufficient attention to the living space. This concept of development, has contributed to the preference for economic growth and ignorance of human development without considering true needs of human. In this context, the public space formed is characterized by "high, new, large, fast" and quite a few problems such as isolation, privatization, visualization, and extensive management. At present, SND has entered a transitional period of development, with profound changes in industrial structure, spatial structure and population structure. It is these changes that SND undergone has resulted in new demands on public space. In addition, the public's demands become increasingly urgent on the humanized and refined use of public space. Thus, hommization becomes the main dimension and inevitable trend of public space design.This essay, after systematically analyzing system structure, characteristics of the present situation and the existed problems, with the relation between supply and demand in the humanized public space as the breakthrough point, discusses from the four aspects: psychology, behavior, scale and culture. It employs in-depth analysis to the psychological needs and behavior pattern of the public, with the application of Maslow's demand levels theory and environmental behavioral theories in order to understand the real needs of the public.And, use of contextualism theory and the perspective of daily life, from culture and the human scale of the public space to analyze specially the characteristics and problems of public space for SND. Based on that, this article put forward optimize strategy from both macroscopic view and microcosmic view. To be specific, macroscopic strategy is systematic construction of public space, three-dimensional construct, repair of the pedestrian system, public regression, subtle shaping of public space and humane management. And main points of microcosmic strategy include the spatial detail design and micro-element design. Finally, further exploration will be given with four major types of public space in SND.
