The Research Of Min-hai Dwelling House’s Ornamentation In Lei-zhou Peninsula, China

Folk is a branch or unit in the same independent nation and has the stability and scientificity. In the history of China’s development, because of the natural environment, the national migration and other reasons, the Chinese interior has many unique cultural folk branch, Fujian people as an important branch is one of them.Leizhou peninsula is located in the southernmost mainland of China which is composed of minhai clan、Hakka and Guangfu clan, and minhai clan is the most widely spread one. Leizhou Peninsula’s minhai clan had a long history of development and formed a unique culture of the folk. Not only retain the original minnan culture, but also integrate the ocean culture、Central Plains culture、Buddhist culture and other culture. These are the products formed by the immigration. Residential decorative arts as an important status in the minhai clan system has showed the rich characteristics and extremely high research value.This paper start from the immigration history of Leizhou Peninsula minhai clan and according to the field investigation, ancient records and information, related knowledge and literature summary and also have a research about residential decorative arts of minhai clan’s. This paper analyze the decorative art of Leizhou minhai clan houses from the point of view of aesthetics, psychology, history, architecture etc.The thesis can be divided into five parts:the first part is the introduction, mainly about the research background、purpose and significance and describe research’s status at home and abroad. The second part is consist of the second chapter the third chapter and the fourth chapter which is the main chapters of this paper., this part research is about the Leizhou Peninsula minhai clan folk residences from the view of carpentry work、masonry and joinery work. The last part is the fifth chapter. This part summarizes the decorative characteristic of Leizhou Peninsula residential architecture and the influence of Leizhou Peninsula minhai clan residential decorative characteristics factors, and puts forward how to protect Leizhou Peninsula minhai clan houses and the corresponding solutions for the aim of solving the practical problem.
