Currently environmental monitoring system has been prevalent in our daily lives,especially in the agricultural and industrial control field, but it is achieved using awired network for monitoring the ambient temperature. This way has someshortcomings such as not easy wiring, high cost, large space occupation. And somedevice needed to change monitoring location at any time, it will no longer apply, sothe study of wireless environmental monitoring system has been paid more and moreattention.ZigBee wireless communication technology standard appeared along with thedevelopment of wireless network technology, communication technology, microwaveantenna technology. It brings people with convenient and promotes the developmentof wireless communication technology with high performance price ratio, low powerconsumption, high reliability. It has become an emerging technology. This thesisproposes the design of Wireless Temperature Measuring System Based on ZigBee.The system uses TI's low-power microcontroller MSP430F149to achieve dataprocessing, the single bus temperature sensor DS18B20to realize the collection oftemperature in temperature monitoring system. The wireless communication moduleuses the ZigBee protocol standard RF chip CC2420, it's made by Chipcon As.This paper introduces the overall design framework of the wireless temperaturemeasurement system design. The hardware design mainly includes MSP430microprocessor module, power module, DS18B20temperature gathering module andCC2420wireless communication module. The software design includes dataacquisition module and wireless communication module program design. The finalresult and analysis of the problems met in the designing process given at the end ofthe thesis.The topics developed wireless temperature measurement system with a low cost,high functionality, high reliability, easy to use, suitable for the cost and wiring areaswith strict requirements, so it has a broad market prospect.
