Studies On Modeling Of Yao's Clothing Of Jinxiu Yao Nationality In Guangxi Autonomous Region

“Yao” is one of the ethnic minorities in China with a long history and splendid culture.Yao's people are hardworking and brave,they are distributed all over the world,mainly in southern China,Vietnam,Laos,Thailand,Myanmar,etc.However,no matter where they migrate,how the appellation changes,the “Yao” people are rooted in China.What's more,their clothing is regarded as a material carrier of spiritual culture and development history,the "living fossil" of culture.Therefore,studying Yao's clothing is an important way to comprehend their culture and history,to inherit and develop Yao's material and cultural heritage.Guangxi Jinxiu Yao autonomous county is the earliest Yao autonomous county in China,is one of the most important areas to research Yao's culture which is also chosen to be the research area in the paper.This thesis takes each branch's clothing in Guangxi Jinxiu Yao autonomous county as research objects,combining the clothing images and the literature,through objects and physical measurement analysis of related nations and branches,proceeds the research and examination of modeling structure,analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of clothing in Guangxi Jinxiu Yao autonomous county and its background which contains information about cultural beliefs,historical geography,production process and other relevant information from the graphic structure of the garment,cutting craft and wearing shape.Based on the analysis of the information,the paper is to conclude the similarities and differences between the internal structure and the external shape of the garment in each branches of Guangxi Jinxiu Yao autonomous county,contrasting with the clothing of “Han”,“Manchu” and other ethnic costumes,to search the characteristics of Yao's clothing from the perspective of modeling structure,to cognize the most essential characteristic of Yao's clothing.
