Design Of Globular Double-plugging Plug In 711mm Pipeline

Pipeline transportation has been become the most economical and reasonable transportation for oil and gas resources.However a large number of oil and gas pipelines cannot avoid emergency.The plug is the main equipment for pipeline emergency repairs with pressure.This paper stems from "CNOOC yacheng13-1 submarine pipeline hole plugging program" which aims at developing submarine pipeline plugging equipment with independent intellectual property rights.This paper has complete structural design and movement analysis of globular double-plugging plug in 711 mm pipeline.As introducing the general development situation of plugging equipment at domestic and abroad horizon,the paper analyzes pipeline construction process emergency repairs.Furthermore it defines the research contents of globular double-plugging plug,as well as determining general structural projects and details of the plugging principle.Globular double-plugging plug is the adoption of modular design by using SolidWorks software to complete three-dimensional structure design of the plug's each part and using the finite-element analysis software ABAQUS to carry out the strength analysis on important parts.In view of the plugging process for the globular double-plugging plug,the paper has done the research on rubber plugging capacity by using the two methods,that is finiteelement software analysis and experiment analysis,obtaining the reliability of rubber plugging.Theoretical analyses was used to the movement process of the plug,comparing two different control plans,as well as being simulated through MATLAB software.So the safer control plan can be determined.The reasonable structure of the plug is initially designed which has accumulated some experiences in development of the pipeline emergency repairs equipment.Through the preliminary analysis of the plug movement,this paper has provide a theoretical basis for the PLC programming control of the plug.
