The Study Of The Effects Of Environmental Regulation On Export Technology Sophistication In China

Since the 1970 s,environmental protection has gradually become an important topic in the world.Developed countries first raised the banner of environmental protection,followed by other countries.International organizations also included environmental protection in the theme of the conference.With the acceleration of China's industrialization and the rapid development of foreign trade,environmental problems have become increasingly prominent.On the one hand,environmental regulation increases the cost of enterprises;on the other hand,it also promotes the technological innovation of enterprises,which affects the change of export trade structure and the complexity of export technology to a certain extent.Scientific analysis and test of environmental regulation and our country exports the relationship between the technology complexity,and put forward targeted policies and Suggestions,for the current environmental regulation policy in our country and improve the quality of our export products is of great significance.In reviewed on the basis of a large number of literature at home and abroad,this paper firstly sort out over the environmental data,on the environment at the present stage in China,the development of environmental policy process,and from the country and the industry level of development is described.Secondly,the main methods to calculate the complexity of export technology are summarized.After comparative analysis,Hausmann r.(2005)and Rodick d.(2006)are selected.Again,selected the 10 years from 2006 to 2016 20 of the 24 countries export products export technical complexity measure,according to the data analysis from different angles the export in recent years,the development and change of the technical complexity.Finally,in the stage of the empirical analysis,to calculate the export of technology complexity by subdivided into 15 of manufacturing industry,selection of industrial wastewater as the environmental regulation variables,r&d investment,foreign capital and foreign trade dependence as control variables in the model to study the effect of variable to export technology complexity mechanism.The research results show that the intensity of environmental regulation on the impact of such industry export technology complexity is inverted "U" type,r&d investment,foreign capital and foreign trade dependence on exports technology complexity have had an impact.The conclusions and Suggestions are summarized according to the research results of this paper and Suggestions are proposed for China's environmental regulation policies.Need under the existing environmental regulation policy in our country,improve the enforcement,targeted to the implementation of environmental regulation,reasonable to introduce high-quality foreign investment at the same time,promote the enterprise independent innovation ability,together with other countries,committed to the policy implementation of environmental protection.
