Water pollution has also increased with economic development, which has become the disaster threatening human health and environment.Adsorption method is one of the most effective ways to control water pollution. The key factor of this method is the high performance adsorbent. This paper focuses on how to prepare high porosity and surface area adsorbent in a simple, clean way,and also studies the relationship between adsorption parameters and the adsorption effect.Firstly, celery is used as carbon precursor.By changing the carbonization atmosphere, two kinds of carbon material with or without nitrogen doped are prepared. The structure of materials is characterized by BET,XRD,XPS,TEM,Raman and EDX.The results show that the carbon materials are amorphous carbon materials with high specific surface area.Especially, the doped nitrogen increase the defects of carbon material due to the edge of the N atoms, result in the increased microporous and pore volume of materials.Secondly, the two kinds of carbon materials are used as adsorbent in methylene blue dye and lead ion waste water. The experimental data show that the nitrogen doped carbon materials exhibit higher adsorption efficiency. It attributes to the more suitable structure for QC-NC and the strong interaction between the nitrogen and carbon.By optimizing the adsorption parameters, the MB adsorption rate was 95.3%,and the Pb2+adsorption rate was 96.5%.Finally,the carbon material after MB adsorption is regenerated in a simple microwave method.Compare with the original product, the surface area of regenerated carbon material is 82%,and the pore volume is 79%.The adsorption rate finally reaches 92.2%,which is a good regeneration effect.
