Subsea control module is the core component of subsea control system,and the whole subsea control system is used to control and moniter the operation of the subsea production equipment.Researching of subsea control module and subsea control system in our country is lagging behind other countries.In order to improve our country's autonomyin subsea production.This paper focuses on designing the subsea control module andhydraulic system,developing a prototype of subsea control module,and then tests the monitoring and control functions of it.Based on the researching of subsea control module and the foreign development of subsea control module,the paper presents the overall scheme of subsea control module which includes the scheme of mechanical structure?the scheme of hydraulic system and the electric controlscheme of subsea electronic module.A layout design of the subsea control module is accomplished,and a locking mechanism and a new docking form are presented to realize the installation and fixation of the subsea control module.Use a way which balance the internal and external pressure of the subsea control module.The hydraulic system consists of three parts which containhydraulic power,hydraulic line,and the hydraulic system of subsea control module,and each part's composition and design requirements is analysed.Determine the pattern of message transfer from SEM to MCSand the internal electronic components of SEM.Through the analysis ofthe subsea separator hydraulic control system,the subsea control module control subsea separator test scheme and process is proposed.According to the requirement of the subsea control module replacement,design a locking mechanism for remote operated vehicle operation and presents a new docking form of unilateral locating pin?Then calculate the maximum torque operation of remote operated vehicle and make an analysis to the docking precision?Using the response surface method and multi-objective genetic algorithm(ga)to optimize the structure of the pressure hull of the subsea electronic module.Reduce the weight of the pressure hull.And make a simulation analysis of seal structure.According to the O-ring rubber sealing stressvariationwithseal structuresize,determineseal structuresize.On the basis of the overall scheme of hydraulic system in subsea control module,the papercompletes the calculation of important components for hydraulic system,including each section of pipe diameter and accumulator parameter,which consider the requirement of the subsea actuator fastly and the influence of the pipeline fluid resistance on the actuator;Make a simulation analysis of several working conditions ofscheme of hydraulic system in subsea control module,the result shows thatdesign of hydraulic systemmeet the requirements.Accomplish the subsea control module properties and underwater separator test.The subsea control module properties test includes locking docking function experiment,sealing performance experiment,andhydraulic system experiment of SCM.Build a subsea control module and underwater separator test platform and test it in a 5 metre deep water pool.Test result shows thatthe subsea control module can control subsea actuator switchand collect the sensor data of devices,verify the subsea control module monitoring and control functions meet the design requirements.The response time of subsea shutoff valve and the opening pressure data of control module reversing valve,which is compared with the simulation results,that is how we can verify the rationality of the hydraulic system and simulation model.
