The subsea control module is the core part of the subsea production system, it is used to control and monitor the operation of subsea production system. The domestic study of subsea control module is late from other country, and it is lagging behind other countries. This paper focuses on designing the hydraulic system and mechanical structure of the subsea control module. Developing a test model of subsea control module and testing the key performance of it.This paper introduces the main form of the subsea control system and the subsea control module of major our country and foreign coMPanies. Putting forward the overall scheme of the subsea control module after coMParing the main form of our country and foreign countries, it is include the overall concept of hydraulic system and mechanical structure. According to the design requirements, the basic form of hydraulic system is determined, and the principle diagram of hydraulic system is designed. This paper determines the basic form of subsea control module,then draws the 3D modle of subsea control module,and introduces the main structure in detail on the basis of the 3D modle.According to the characteristics of the fast opening and closing of the valve actuator, the actuator is modeled and calculated, and the hydraulic system is designed in detail. Determine the diameter of each pipe line, and establish the theoretical model of the hydraulic hose, then optimize the pipe diameter of the long distance transmission in the umbilical cord. This paper analyzes the influence of the pressure compensator on the hydraulic actuator control and simulates the hydraulic system. Then the rationality of the design of hydraulic system is verified.This paper designs the structure of hydraulic system of subsea control module, and designs the layout and key components. The shell of the subsea control module and pressure compensator are designed in detail, and the volume of the pressure compensator is determined.The bearing shell of the subsea electronic module are designed in detail. Then using the response surface method and multi-objective genetic algorithm to optimize the structure of subsea electronic module, and reduce the weight of it. In view of the characteristics of installation and replacement by Remote Operated Vehicle of subsea control module,this paper designs a set of joint locking mechanism and analyzes the accuracy of the docking. Then calculate and select the level and speed of the operating facilities of Remote Operated Vehicle.Accomplish the subsea control module properties test. The properties test includes hydraulic system experiment, sealing performance experiment, locking docking function experiment, and control test for separator. Test result shows that the work pressure of hydraulic system can meet the requirements and the subsea control module can control the actuator on the subsea separator. The shell of the subsea control module and the shell of the subsea electronic module are well sealed, and can reach 2000m water depth’s requirement. The subsea control module can be operated by artificial and the operating facilities of Remote Operated Vehicle to dock and lock. The subsea control module can control and monitor the work of the separator system, and it is able to ensure that the level and pressure in the separator are stable at the set value.
